Lionel Messi may be the most gifted footballer to ever play the game, but an Argentinian Official alleges that he could do better in looking after himself more. The FC Barcelona superstar has recently been suffering from a groin injury he suffered on September 21 during Barca’s 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.
Jorge Miadosqui, who is the secretary of the Argentina national team, thinks Messi is partly to blame for his injury. He said, “The one who isn't being careful is the player, who always wants to play. We all have to look after him together. I think that the national team looks after players in the best way. We sent the doctor for Augusto Fernandez's operation, and he went to look at Messi. We have to look after all the national team's players.”

Messi will be available to face Brazil
Miadosqui, who joined the Argentina’s FA in August, believes that while Argentina are preparing to cope without their talisman for this round of international fixtures against Peru and Paraguay. Messi is expected to be fit and firing to face Brazil and Columbia in important qualifying matches in November.
“He'll be back in the next few weeks, we hope to have him for the matches in November. We have to thank the players who come because they do it for the shirt, for the glory. You have to think that they can get good results without him. We have great players to do just that and you have to be relaxed about it,” quipped Miadosqui .
Argentina are frustrated with Barcelona’s management of Messi and feel like they are being given the raw end of the deal by the Spanish club in terms of Messi’s availability. Argentina coach Edgardo Bauza recently took his protestations to the press and said that Barcelona were overworking Messi, and it is reported that he privately complained about the fact that having missed a crucial World Cup qualifier for Argentina, Messi turned out for Barcelona just four days later.

Some good news for Messi’s fans is that he is back to training, albeit not full sessions. He did manage to start sprints and undergo some light training exercises, though.
Argentina lie in third place in their qualifying group, one point behind Messi’s team-mate Luis Suarez’s Uruguay, who occupy top position.
