Lucas Torreira's fantastic bicycle kick snatched the win

Arsenal ground out a hard fought win against a resilient Huddersfield to continue their unbeaten run. Lucas Torreira's fantastic bicycle kick snatched the win for The Gunners in the 83rd minute.

A dull affair otherwise, Arsenal looked tired after a busy week. Emery's side weren't helped by some very poor officiating, as two chances were incorrectly ruled offside. Here's how Arsenal rated.

Bernd Leno - 6

The German was virtually a spectator for much of the game as Huddersfield rarely threatened. Could have maybe done better with his distribution, but solid nonetheless.

Hector Bellerin - 6

The Spaniard was enthusiastic and hardworking, but couldn't find a way to threaten down the right flank. Defended well when required, and worked hard all night.

Stephan Lichtsteiner - 6

Playing as a right sided central defender, Lichtsteiner was solid, but offered little going forward. He was booked and substituted at half-time. The aggression he brings to the side is enjoyable to watch though.

Sokratis - 8

The Greek defender was solid and aggressive all throughout the game. He brought a real passion to the side, celebrating tackles like goals. Unfortunately, his booking means that he will miss next week's trip to Southampton

Shkodran Mustafi - 6

Mustafi struggled a bit with Depoitre's physicality, and was booked in the first half. Solid otherwise, the German limped off with a hamstring injury, and will miss the next game either through suspension or injury.

Sead Kolasinac - 6.5

Kolasinac struggled to find space for his trademark attacking runs, but was solid defensively. He worked hard to win the ball back, and made good clearances when required.

Granit Xhaka - 6

The Swiss midfielder returned from suspension and kept things ticking in midfield. He was booked for an apparent dive, and gave the ball away clumsily on a few occasions. He seemed a bit shackled by Huddersfield's pressing.

Matteo Guendouzi - 7

Guendouzi was industrious and hardworking all game. Constantly trying to make things happen, he played an important role in the buildup to the goal. Great stamina from the young Frenchman.

Lucas Torreira - 8.5

Is there anything he can't do? Torreira scored the winner with an acrobatic bicycle kick, and was particularly excellent for the third game this week. His technical ability to shoot and pass is a brilliant complement to his ball-winning capabilities.

Alexandre Lacazette - 5

Lacazette was quiet against Huddersfield, and missed a golden chance in the first half. He was also wrongly ruled offside as he rounded the keeper and scored. Substituted at halftime.

Pierre Aubameyang - 7

Auba might not have scored, but he assisted the winner with a great chipped ball. He missed two chances that he really should have scored, but is excused for his assist.

Substitutes

Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 6

Mkhitaryan failed to make an impact coming off the bench, and was disappointing. He really isn't playing well at the moment, and a player of his abilities should be influencing games more often, especially against lower sides.

Alex Iwobi - 6

Like Mkhitaryan, Iwobi didn't make an impact coming off the bench. He gave the ball away a few times, and didn't look as confident as he did at the beginning of the season. Iwobi seems to be experiencing a drop in form.

Nacho Monreal - 6

Coming back after a long layoff with injury, Monreal was as solid as ever. He was rarely challenged by Huddersfield's attack. His return is particularly important to alleviate Arsenal's slight defensive crisis.
