When Arsenal signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, the Gunners knew they had brought a world-class striker at the Emirates. At the time, Lacazette was already playing for Arsenal, which created confusion as to who would be made to sit out between the two.

However, Unai Emery paid heed to the fans and played both the strikers together in what looked like a frightening front two. Aubameyang's pace coupled with Lacazette's vision can make any defense look meek.

Against Mauricio Pochettino's side, Aubameyang was at his deadliest best. In the first 20 minutes of the game, the Spurs' defense was wholly taken to pieces by the home side, eventually forcing a penalty from Vertongen which the Gabonese dispatched beautifully.

He maintained his goal-scoring streak after bringing Arsenal level into the game with a delightful shot from outside the box, leaving Lloris stranded on his goal.

Lacazette got introduced after the break, and he made an instant impact in the game. The Frenchman made darting runs into the Spurs box, repeatedly threatening to score.

He did eventually get his goal after an imbalanced low shot went past a diving Hugo Lloris.
