Arsene Wenger has reportedly earmarked Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha as the man to take over the mantle from Alexis Sanchez who is set to depart the Gunners on a free transfer after the end of the season.

The Sun understands that Arsenal are ready to offer £35 million for the 25-year-old Englishman. Zaha recently signed a five-year deal with the Eagles but will find Arsenal's interest too good to turn down, especially with Palace at the bottom of the table.

The English daily also reports that if not Zaha then Arsenal will try and lure FC Porto's Yacine Brahimi to the Emirates.

Mauricio Pochettino a transfer target for both Manchester United and PSG

Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur revolution has not gone unnoticed with many top European clubs taking a note of the Argentine's astute management. Sunday Express claim that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are looking at Pochettino as their next boss.

PSG want to replace Unai Emery with a blockbuster name next season whereas United are lining up the Spurs man if Jose Mourinho decides to call it a day on his United stint.

Juventus stepping up their efforts for landing Emre Can

The Bianconeri have upped the ante in their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder by instructing Can's compatriot Sami Khedira to influence the 23-year-old to join Juventus.

The Daily Mirror reports that Juventus are desperate to land the German midfielder and are now resorting to taking advantage of the friendship between Khedira and Can.

Liverpool are destined to lose Can in the next few months as talks over a new contract have hit a major roadblock.

AS Roma target Aleix Vidal

The full-back who has failed to establish his place at Barcelona is nearing the end of his Catalan career. Football Whispers has revealed that AS Roma are eager to sign Vidal who is also ready to end his Barcelona nightmare.

Vidal has not yet made a start this season after falling down the pecking order since the arrival of Nelson Semedo.

But the four-time Bayern Munich manager has termed an extension as an 'impossible task' in a recent admission. However, the manager will play a huge role in deciding who will succeed him at the hot seat in the Allianz Arena.

Since Jupp Heynckes took over, Bayern Munich have not lost a single game in all competitions.

Anthony Modeste will not join Bayern Munich

Tianjin Quanjian forward and former Cologne hitman, Anthony Modeste was lrecently inked with a January move to Bayern Munich. The Bavarians were on the lookout for a backup striker for Robert Lewandowski and had identified Modeste as a potential buy.

But the Frenchman, who moved to China in July, has revealed that he will not join Bayern Munich as a backup option.

Modeste told Express, "I'm not someone who sits on the bench behind Lewandowski. You can train as well as you want, you are always his replacement.

"I am 29 years old and have no time to lose. Although I would be German champion with Bayern, I would not like it."

The European champions have reportedly given up on Gareth Bale after being frustrated with his frequent injury issues, the latest being his thigh problem which will see him miss out on the remainder of the year's action.

Real Madrid are now ready to sell the Welshman next summer and have put an £85 million price tag on the 28-year-old, Don Balon can reveal. Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are the three clubs which are interested in taking Bale on board with United being the favourites to land him.

Barcelona to offer Samuel Umtiti a new deal

After the recent revelation of Umtiti's €60 million release clause and subsequent Manchester United interest, Barcelona now want to award the Frenchman with an improved deal.

Sport reports that the Catalan club are set to offer the centre-back a new contract which will see him earn more than €3 million per year and will also see his release clause being increased to €180 million.

Umtiti's current deal runs down in 2021 with Barcelona ready to offer him a two-year extension.

French outlet SFR Sport has claimed that Zinedine Zidane has requested the Real Madrid board to sign up his countryman Nabil Fekir from Lyon. The 24-year-old playmaker has been one of the best players in Europe this season and has already scored 12 league goals.

Zidane wants him at the Bernabeu to give his side another able goalscorer. Arsenal are also being linked with Fekir who is set to be the most in-demand player next season.

Marouane Fellaini set to leave Manchester United in January

The Daily Mirror reports that Jose Mourinho will need to sell some of his current crop of players before he signs reinforcements in January. The tabloid claims that the first one out of Old Trafford will be Marouane Fellaini who is set to join Besiktas in the winter transfer window.

Fellaini is in the final year of his contract with the Red Devils and is reported to be valued at around £8 million.
