Jupp Heynckes won't extend his Bayern Munich contract
After a dream return to the Bavarians which catapulted them to the top of Bundesliga, rumours were circulating that the veteran manager would sign an extension in the summer.
But the four-time Bayern Munich manager has termed an extension as an 'impossible task' in a recent admission. However, the manager will play a huge role in deciding who will succeed him at the hot seat in the Allianz Arena.
Since Jupp Heynckes took over, Bayern Munich have not lost a single game in all competitions.
Anthony Modeste will not join Bayern Munich
Tianjin Quanjian forward and former Cologne hitman, Anthony Modeste was lrecently inked with a January move to Bayern Munich. The Bavarians were on the lookout for a backup striker for Robert Lewandowski and had identified Modeste as a potential buy.
But the Frenchman, who moved to China in July, has revealed that he will not join Bayern Munich as a backup option.
Modeste told Express, "I'm not someone who sits on the bench behind Lewandowski. You can train as well as you want, you are always his replacement.
"I am 29 years old and have no time to lose. Although I would be German champion with Bayern, I would not like it."
