Arsenal forward Park Chu-Young has been cautioned by his national team coach Hong Myung-Bo that he must leave Arsenal in order to get more playing time elsewhere or risk being dropped from the national team, Sky Sports reports.

The 28-year-old has played just six games for the Gunners since his arrival from French club Monaco two years ago and has struggled to carve a niche for himself in the club which currently has a deficit of strikers.

The South Korean international, who was loaned to La Liga side Celta Vigo last season, has not been able to leave the London club after failing to find any takers for him in the transfer window.

South Korea manager Myung-Bo has dropped the player from the upcoming clashes against Haiti and Croatia and has told Park to switch clubs if he wants to secure his place in the national team.

“Park knows what he has to do,” said Myung-Bo when asked whether Park should leave Arsenal,” Myung-Bo told the Korea Herald.

“He must find a new team if he wants to remain in the national team.”
