Arsenal young midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has been loaned out to fellow Londoners Fulham for the remainder of the season.
The move was made official by the Gunners on their twitter handle and later acknowledged by Frimpong on his personal twitter account as well. With the Gunners since nine years of age, the Ghanaian’s debut in an Arsenal shirt came in 2011. The hard-tackling midfielder has shown only glimpses of the potential that scouts had hailed him of possessing while failing to secure a place at the heart of the Arsenal midfield.
A subsequent loan spell to Wolverhampton Wanderers last season was cut short for Frimpong as he required to go under the knife after rupturing knee ligaments against QPR.
Frimpong was also loaned to Charlton near the end of 2012 and now he will see out the season at Craven Cottage.
