Ramsey's guile would be perfect for the Spurs midfield

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has forged one of the best teams in the league which plays with an energy and speed that often sees them finish teams off early on in games.

The attack is sublime, the defence is rock solid but it is the midfield that is often seen as an area of concern.

For all his industrious play, Eric Dier cannot quite square up with the best central midfielders in the game and Moussa Sissoko is a hugely inconsistent player, who is not quite cut out for the big games.

That leaves only Mousa Dembele as the central midfield engine in the squad and quite often, it might not be enough.

Which is why the addition to Arsenal's Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey could completely change the face of their midfield. Ramsey is one of the most hardworking players in the league and in addition to that he makes superb runs into the box that often sees him in goalscoring situations.

For instance, in the derby game against Spurs last Saturday, Ramsey ran the opposition midfield ragged as he covered 12.72 kilometers in the game, the highest for any Arsenal player.

With Dembele able to carry the ball through midfield and Ramsey making those runs into the box, it could turn out to be a devastating midfield combination.
