Arsenal make Draxler approach

Arsenal's transfer window has not been a great one. Sure they have signed Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac but they still have work to do in this transfer window.

According to reports in France, Arsenal have made a late approach for PSG's Julian Draxler. The attacking player is ready for a move away from the French capital and both Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to snatch him up.

Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the 23-year old and even tried to sign him back when he was in charge of Dortmund, only to lose out to PSG.

The Gunners have now made an approach in the last few hours to sign the £32-million rated midfielder as well. There were reports that the player's agent was at Anfield last week discussing a possible move to Liverpool.

Dortmund are also interested in the player but the German international has made it clear that he does not want to join them.

Manchester City make cash + player offer for Sanchez

A swap deal on cards?

Manchester City are refusing to give up on their pursuit of Alexis Sanchez. Latest reports suggest that City have now offered £70 million + Raheem Sterling for the Arsenal superstar.

Pep has been trying to get the Chile international for a long time now and wants to anyhow get the transfer done before the transfer window slams shut on 31st August.

Arsenal have publicly stated that they will let Sanchez leave for free next season rather than lose him now. However, a swap deal might make them reconsider their stance.

Arsenal were one of the clubs interested in Raheem Sterling when he forced a move away from the Anfield. The Gunners lost to Manchester City, who offered £49 million for the winger.

Sterling faces competition as Pep has brought in more attacking players and the playing time on offer at Arsenal could tempt the winger to make the move.

Another swap deal on the cards? Southampton want Walcott for Van Dijk

Norwich City v Southampton - The Emirates FA Cup Third Round
Arsenal join the race to sign Van Dijk

Jurgen Klopp has been targeting Virgil Van Dijk for a long time in this summer transfer window. The Reds are set to make one last attempt to get the defender before the transfer window closes and they are planning to make a club record bid of £75 million for the player.

However, it looks like the Gunners fancy a swoop for the Southampton defender as well and could add Theo Walcott in the deal.

The Saints have been reluctant to sell their player despite the Holland international handing in a transfer request. The club even made the player sit out from the first team.

According to reports, Saints could consider selling him if Arsenal offer Walcott in return.
