#3 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)

The current season has not been one to remember for the Arsenal captain but the game against Liverpool offers him an excellent opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has performed significantly beneath the levels expected of him but the 31-year-old is still one of the best strikers in the world.

The former Borussia Dortmund man recently led his nation to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and this should give him an added boost.

Aubameyang's pace down the flanks could put the Liverpool defense on the backfoot and Trent Alexander-Arnold's struggles this season could play to the Arsenal skipper's strengths.

#2 Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Like Aubameyang, Sadio Mane has not had the best of seasons for Liverpool but that takes nothing away from his immense abilities.

So far this season, the 28-year-old has just seven goals and five assists from 28 league games, which is a far cry from the numbers associated with him in the recent past.

Mane's direct running and strength on the ball is sure to keep the Arsenal defenders occupied. And his record of seven goals and two assists from 13 league games against the Emirates outfit underlines the threat he poses to the capital side.

#1 Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool's talisman for the last four seasons. and despite the struggles currently being experienced by his club, the Egyptian international is still performing at an optimum level.

The 28-year-old is joint-top of the scorer's chart with 17 goals as he seeks a third Premier League Golden Boot but he is currently on a barren run that has seen him go five league games without scoring.

Mo Salah was back among the goals - starring with a brace - as Egypt decimated Comoros 4-0 in their final Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

The break from the pressure at Liverpool might have afforded the former Roma man a chance to recharge his batteries.

Salah has a relatively good record against Arsenal, having scored six goals and assisted four from eight Premier League matches against the Gunners.

With Liverpool currently in need of a messiah to turn their fortunes around, their number 11 could be the man to step up to the plate like he has done on countless occasions in the past.
