The Ivorian international Gervinho has completed his move to Italian Serie A side AS Roma for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old joined Arsenal in the summer of 2011.
The club’s official website released a statement saying: “Gervinho has joined Italian Serie A side AS Roma for an undisclosed fee. Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Gervinho for his contribution to the club and wish him well for his future career.”
The ex-Lille forward netted 9 times in 45 appearances for the Gunners. Gervinho begun his career at ASEC Abidjan academy in the Ivory Coast, before moving on to Belgium and France.
