AS Roma eyes Brazilian defender Rocha

Rio de Janeiro - Italian football club, AS Roma is preparing a bid to sign Brazilian defenderin July.

Rocha was called up to Brazil’s national team last year after a series of impressive performances for Atletico Mineiro.

The 24-year-old right back’s agent, Luciano Brustolini, said that he had heard the reports but denied any contact with the Italian Seria A club over a possible move.

“I just found out now that Roma are interested in Marcos Rocha, but there is nothing to it,” Brustolini said. “This sort of speculation is normal for someone who is playing the way he is. But right now all that Marcos is concentrating on is playing as well as he can for Atletico Mineiro.”
