KHIMKI, RUSSIA – SEPTEMBER 22: Luke Wilkshire (L) of FC Dynamo Moscow battles for the ball with Pavel Ignatovich of FC Amkar Perm during the Russian Premier League match between FC Dynamo Moscow and FC Amkar Perm at the Arena Khimki Stadium on September 22, 2012 in Khimki, Russia.

Moscow, Nov 11 – Dynamo Moscow full-back Luke Wilkshire has said he will be out for two weeks and miss an Australia friendly after pulling a hamstring in a Russian premier League football match.

Wilkshire was substituted by Nikita Chicherin in the 17th minute of Dynamo’s 2-0 win over Alania Vladikavkaz Saturday.

The injury rules the Australian international out of a friendly against South Korea in Hwaseong Wednesday.

“Pulled my hamstring,” Wilkshire said in comments on the Dynamo Twitter feed. “Out for two weeks.”

He added: “Won’t go to the national team now.”

Wilkshire is a regular for Australia and has been a starting player in all four games of Australia’s 2014 World Cup qualification campaign so far.

He has played in 11 games for Dynamo this season.
