FC Barcelona will sign Estudiantes youngster Franco Bartucci. Bartucci plays as a youth forward for Estudiantes and he is considered to be one of the best young talents in Argentina.

According to Sport, barring any last minute change, the young Argentine forward will travel to Barcelona on July 22nd. After a couple of weeks to acclimatise at La Masia and Barcelona, Bartucci will finally link up with his new team-mates on August 8th.

Bartucci was part of the Estudiantes squad which toured Spain and played a match against the Barcelona youth team. It was in this match that Bartucci caught the attention of the Barcelona scouts who were very impressed with the young striker’s pace and finishing skills. Bartucci is also known for his positioning and is a prolific goalscorer at youth levels.

Contact between Bartucci and Barcelona was initiated that very day and the youngster was invited on several occasions to come to Barcelona and learn about the club in more detail.

Currently, Bartucci is training in Buenos Aries with the coaching staff that accompanied him on Estudiante’s trip to Barcelona. Barcelona will be hoping that they have the same success they had with Lionel Messi with the highly rated Bartucci.

Neymar extends contract with Barcelona until 2021

Barcelona have confirmed that they've agreed a contract extension with Brazilian winger, Neymar, that keeps him in the club till 2021. The 24-year-old joined the Catalans in 2013 and has since gone on to win two La Ligas, two Copa del Reys, two FIFA Club World Cups and one UEFA Champions League.

Neymar has been linked with huge money moves to Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich but none of that makes sense now given that his release clause is set for a whopping €200 million for the first year, €222 million for the second year and €250 for the third year.

Neymar scored 31 goals for Barcelona last season in 49 appearances also contributing 27 assists to his teammates which firmly underlines why he's valued so highly by the club and those clubs who were interested in signing him. United, Paris Saint-Germain and City were reportedly all ready to bid huge to sign him.

The deal finally sees all the speculation about Neymar’s future put to rest as Barcelona look to keep their amazing front trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar at the Camp Nou for the foreseeable future.
