Getafe

Barcelona v Getafe - La Liga
Djene (middle) had a solid outing today

Vicente Guaita: 8.5/10

This was quite an amazing outing by Guaita. Quick off his lines, it was him who stood firm and stopped Barca from an easy victory. He pulled a couple of saves including a fantastic stop off Suarez's header late in the game.

Damian Suarez: 6.5/10

Damian Suarez defended his team's right flank quite diligently. He was tentative and always ready to go into a tackle. However, he was quite often overwhelmed by the overlapping Alba in the second half as he ghosted in behind him on a couple of occasions.

Bruno Gonzalez: 7/10

Bruno put in a good performance as he was constantly in the way of Messi and Co., keeping them at bay for the majority of the game. He made a string of important interceptions and tackles to keep Getafe in the game. He was lucky to come out of the match without any card despite his physicality.

Djene Dakonam: 8/10

The centre-back, like his defensive partners, was always alert to the dangers Barcelona players posed to his goal and was ever-ready to deal with them. He never gave an inch of space to anyone in and around the penalty box.

Vitorino Antunes: 7/10

The Getafe left-back was tentative, always ready to jump into tackles and defended as if his life depended on it. He did not allow any Barcelona player any joy down his side and in general, came out on top while defending. Amazing performance.

Faycal Fajr: 6.5/10

The midfielder was combative and very efficient in possession. He was intelligent in distribution and defended resolutely. Though this was not his best outing, he surely did his job reasonably well.

Mauro Arambarri: 6.5/10

Arambarri had a decent game. Though he was not much influential in the second half, he came out on top in the midfield battle against Barca during the initial 45 minutes. His distribution was efficient if not eye-catching.

Francisco Portillo: 6/10

Playing as a right-winger on the night, his attacking input during his time on the pitch was next to nothing. However, he more than made up for it by tracking back and covering the runs of Lucas Digne.

Gaku Shibasaki: 6.5/10

The nimble-footed midfielder had a quite different role to play tonight. He was asked to play inside his own half without seeing much of the ball. He did that very well while also using his ability to turn defence into attack quickly.

Amath Ndiaye: 6/10

A major threat to Barcelona's defence throughout the time he was on the pitch. He ran himself to the ground; such was his work rate as he floated all over the pitch. His end product was fairly poor though.

Angel Rodriguez: 5.5/10

Angel Rodriguez cut a long figure upfront. He was not provided with ample service in the first half while also bring marshalled quite closely by Mina and Digne. His decision making while in possession was also suspect. However, he pressed Barcelona very diligently and worked really hard for the team's cause.

Substitutes

Mathieu Flamini: 6/10

He was brought on for Angel Rodriguez as Getafe decided to shore things up at the back and settle for a draw. He did a decent enough job in the limited time he had on the pitch.

Jorge Molina: N/A

Molina was a late substitute and did not have much time to affect the game.

Leandro Cabrera: N/A

Having been a late substitute, Cabrera too did not have much time to affect the game.
