Zidane and Florentino Perez divided over Paul Pogba pursuit

Like Neymar, Paul Pogba sent the transfer tabloids into overdrive when he stated that he was open to seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
The French international had also completed a world record move to his current employers and after three years at Old Trafford, things have not exactly worked according to plans for the former Juventus midfielder.
His time at Manchester United has largely been underwhelming as despite starring on occasion, the 26-year-old has faced accusations of inconsistency and non-commitment to the United cause.
Paul Pogba has been identified as a potential transfer target for Zinedine Zidane as the Real Madrid manager is a self-professed keen admirer of his fellow countryman.
While Zidane might be very much interested in signing Paul Pogba, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is less sure about the deal.
According to Sport, the 72-year-old is not entirely convinced that the World Cup winner is worth the asking price by Manchester United and would rather spend the money on other players. Zidane is however said to be going all out in his bid to convince Perez to bring Pogba over to Madrid.
