Valverde considering Barcelona future

Ernesto Valverde is considering his future at the club according to AS. The manager is on the verge of a domestic double but wants to leave as his relationship with the board isn't in a good position.

The former Athletic Bilbao manager has a deal until June 2019. He just led the team to a Copa del Rey win and is a point away from sealing the league title.

The Barcelona board is said to be unhappy with the way the Catalan side were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League. The fans have also made their opinions clear and that is said to be the main reason for the manager considering his future at the club.

Manchester United enter Lenglet race

Jose Mourinho has set his sights on signing Clément Lenglet from Sevilla according to reports in The Sun. The Manchester United manager sees him as a replacement for Chris Smalling in the starting XI as per the report.

Barcelona were said to be the only club interested in signing the £20 million-rated defender but now face some tough competition. The Sun's report also claims that Mourinho will let go of Marcos Rojo to fund the transfer of the French defender.

Andres Iniesta to confirm China move 'this week'

Reports in ESPN claim that Iniesta is set to confirm his move to China this week. The Barcelona legend is set to join Chongqing Dangdai Lifan as per several reports.

After Barcelona's Copa del Rey win, Iniesta said, “This week I will make the decision public. There are many emotions, many feelings, many years -- I'm happy to be able to give this image and the title. Today the people deserved this.”

“I am happy personally and at a collective level. There are very strong emotions, the affection and respect that people have for me is something that I am very much grateful for. As I said, I will try to add this cup to the league. This week I will speak about the decision I make, as a person and as an athlete. The affection the people have shown me is priceless,” added the Barcelona legend.
