Zidane looking to add Liverpool star

The Philippe Coutinho transfer saga has been running since the summer as Barcelona bid vehemently for the player without success. Recent news have indicated a softening of stance from the Liverpool owners with a deal likely to be concluded in January.

However, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo report that arch-rivals Real Madrid are looking to steal the player under Barcelona's noses. The capital club have an ageing squad and are struggling this season leading to possible arrivals in January.

Nevertheless, Coutinho reportedly prefers Barcelona and it remains to be seen whether Zinedine Zidane can convince the Brazilian after reports of contact with Liverpool.

Winks' performances are attracting attention across Europe

The Englishman impressed across both matches against Real Madrid in the Champions League and is becoming a fine player under Mauricio Pochettino. Now, Winks is wanted by Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona as per several reports.

Barcelona scouts were present in Tottenham's both matches against Real Madrid to monitor Christian Eriksen. However, the Spanish club's sporting director, Robert Fernandez, was impressed by Winks and now is looking to sign the player in the summer.

Winks definitely has the ability to play in Barcelona's midfield and it could prove to be a deal of good value if he joins the Catalan club.

Jonathan Tah is top priority defender in January

Germany - Training & Press Conference
Tah is wanted by Barcelona in January

Spanish newspaper Sport report that a top-centre back with his best years ahead of him is a priority for Ernesto Valverde in January. As per the publication, Germany and Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah fits the bill.

The Blaugrana have reportedly opened talks with the 21-year old as Valverde looks to offload Thomas Vermaelen while both Javier Mascherano and Gerard Pique are not getting any younger. Further, Leverkusen are not playing in the Champions League, implying Tah can play in the knockout stages.

There is no doubt about Tah's quality and he could prove to be a shrewd addition in the mould of Samuel Umtiti.
