Update on Jean-Clair Todibo's move
Toulouse star Jean-Clair Todibo, who has been linked with Barcelona for a while now, could finally move to Catalunya soon as Barcelona are interested in signing him and loaning him till the end of the season.
Barca are now in talks with Toulouse to sign him this month and if both the clubs can sort out the fee, the defender could move to Camp Nou in the coming days and go out on loan for six months. If this deal fails to go through, he will stay at Toulouse, where he's not playing as punishment for turning down a contract renewal offer.
Since Tobido only has six months left on a non-professional deal, Barcelona will also try to agree to a compensation package with the French club. The management is currently negotiating a compensation package, formally known as a development fee, for signing an under-23 player on a free transfer, with the Ligue 1 side.
