Without further ado, let's have a look at the top stories concerning the LaLiga leaders today.

Barca target Tottenham striker

According to Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham's Fernando Llorente has emerged as a new potential transfer target for Barcelona as they look to strengthen their attack in January.

Following the transfer of Munir El Haddadi to Sevilla, there is no proper backup for Luis Suarez and the Catalans are looking for a quality player to play the second fiddle to the Uruguayan.

Llorente, whose contract with Spurs runs out at the end of the season, hs worked with Ernesto Valverde in the past as they worked together at Athletic Bilbao, who are also in the race to sign the Spanish international.

Philippe Coutinho to Manchester United?

It is very clear that Barcelona's Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho is not happy at Camp Nou due to the lack of playing time and could be on his way out of the club and if the reports in Mundo Deportivo are true, he is considering a shocking move to Manchester United sooner than later.

Ever since moving to Barcelona in January 2018 for £142million, Coutinho has always been in and out of the playing XI and over the last couple of months, his situation worsened as Valverde is yet to figure out how to use him.

It won't be a surprise if he leaves Barcelona and it will be interesting to see how the Liverpool fanbase will react if he joins their arch-rivals Manchester United.

Manchester City favourites to sign Ousmane Dembele

Premier League champions Manchester City have emerged as the favourites to sign Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele but it looks unlikely that the deal with go through in the ongoing winter transfer window.

With Dembele struggling to find a place in the starting XI regularly, bookmakers have now made Manchester City the favourites to sign the French international from the Spanish champions
