The venue’s roof and lighting system will be installed within the next month, according to the stadium’s tenant, Sport Club Internacional, reports Xinhua.
More than 400 reflectors will be fitted and energised by an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to avoid potential blackouts during matches.
The venue, which will have a capacity to seat 53,000 fans, will host five matches during the June 12-July 13 tournament.
