Moscow - Ex-Everton midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is to travel to Germany for an operation on a groin injury, his club Spartak Moscow said on Wednesday.

The problem has already kept him out of Russia’s friendly against the U.S. on Wednesday and could leave the winger on the sidelines for three months.

Spartak said in a website statement that Bilyaletdinov would head to Germany in “the next few days” for the operation, citing team doctor Mikhail Vartapetov.
