Bolivia will face Chile at the Estadio Municipal de El Alto on Tuesday in another round of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The home side have endured a difficult qualifying campaign so far and are in danger of missing out on an eighth consecutive World Cup appearance as they sit eighth in the table, four points behind the sole inter-confederation playoff spot.

They were beaten 2-0 by Venezuela in their last match, conceding both goals in the opening half hour and failing to find a way back into the contest despite a fairly improved second-half display.

Chile meanwhile have suffered a sharp decline in status in recent years and now look set to extend their stay away from the global stage. They suffered a narrow and largely unsurprising 1-0 defeat to group winners Argentina last time out, falling behind after just 16 minutes to extend their winless streak against La Selección to nine games.

The visitors sit rock-bottom in the table with 10 points from 15 games and will be eliminated from the running for qualification regardless of Tuesday's result should Venezuela win elsewhere.

Bolivia vs Chile Prediction

Bolivia have lost two of their last three games and are winless in their last six. They are, however, unbeaten in their last five qualifying games on home soil and will fancy their chances of a positive result this week.

Chile are winless in their last three games, failing to score any goals in that period. They have the worst away record in the CONMEBOL qualifiers so far and could lose this one.
