The fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt says if he was ever a footballer he would be a mix of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The Sprint king is an ardent football fan and is quite popularly known to be a die-hard Manchester United fan. The nine-time Olympic gold medalist has on many occasions stated his desire to play for the Red Devils if given a chance.

"Ronaldo and Messi; that would be a good mix yes," said the Olympic 100 and 200-metre champion to Viva magazine.Bolt has on many occasions revealed his love for both football and cricket and admitted to the fact that he would definitely consider playing either one of the sports in the future.

When Bolt was asked whether he wants to be like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, the Jamaican said, "I would combine the talent of both and add my speed - and my heart."And then you would have the greatest football player ever," he added.

Bolt sounds quite confident about his football skills comparing himself with living legends like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Although he may be the fastest man on the planet, speed is not the only asset an individual requires to become a great footballer.

"If they called me from Manchester and said "we need you now," I would take the next plane to England," he said.

The Jamaican had always indicated that if Manchester United ever come knocking on his door, the answer would always be a ‘yes.' Bolt certainly has more of a liking for Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, but that can be because he was once a Manchester United player himself.

Bolt had given a thumbs up to Jose Mourinho when he was appointed by Manchester United as the new manager of the club. He spoke highly of the Portuguese manager and how good he was at building squads and winning titles.
