Brazilian forward Malcolm close to joining Ligue 1 club Bordeaux
He will be the sixth Corinthians player to leave the club since December if he moves
Teenage Brazilian forward Malcolm is set to join French football club Bordeaux.
The 18-year-old has been omitted from Corinthians' squad for the Sao Paulo state championship amid ongoing negotiations with the Ligue 1 club. Bordeaux are said to have offered the star a salary of 92,000 euros a month, reports Xinhua.
His departure would make him the sixth player to leave Corinthians since they won the Brazilian Serie A title in December. The Sao Paulo outfit have already lost Ralf, Jadson, Renato Augusto and Gil to Chinese Super League clubs and Pato to Chelsea.
