The misery and the pressure just keep piling on for Arsenal. Having already lost to Manchester City twice in the span of 5 days - once in the Carabao Cup Final, and later in the Premier League - Brighton's two goals inside 26 minutes were enough to give Arsenal yet another defeat. This was the Seagulls' first win over Arsenal since 1982. These were also three crucial points which help them get into the top half of the table. The Gunners, however, have suffered a fourth consecutive defeat away from home. It will be interesting to see how the club responds now.As always, Twitter was abuzz after this shocking defeat for the Gunners. Here are some of the best tweets:The year is 2039. Football is now played on the moon, and each player has a Segway to zoom about the pitch on.90-year-old Arsene Wenger is now just a head in a jar, but he's still manager of Arsenal. And they're still f*cking shite.— Paddy Power (@paddypower) March 4, 2018OFFICIAL: Arsenal can mathematically no longer win the Premier League this season.Just incase you still had some hope. 😉 pic.twitter.com/RFpNtkhOOT— Squawka Football (@Squawka) March 4, 2018Robbie from Arsenal Fan TV right now. #BRIARS pic.twitter.com/mcakFsjCAO— BenchWarmers (@BeWarmers) March 4, 2018The name "Arsenal" should be added to the 1000 ways to die.— ABOVE (@king_talent) March 4, 2018I don’t actually see what’s left for Arsenal with Wenger still in charge, 4 defeats on the trot, players turning on him, no fans supporting. As an absentee landlord, he is not forced to live his team’s failure, hearing it from every Arsenal fan encountered on a daily basis.
