Ghanian Yiadom in action for Barnsley

26-year-old Ghanian full-back Andy Yiadom plays in the Championship for Barnsley after he moved to the club on a free transfer in 2016 from Barnet.

The Ghanian impressed during his four years at Barnet and made over 150 appearances for the team.

Hayes & Yeading United was where Yiadom began his career in 2010 and moved to Braintree Town a year later. He secured the move to Barnet in 2012 and after consistent displays for the team, Burnley started to track the player.

Still, on Burnley's radar, the full-back's current team Barnsley are in 19th place in the Championship and he could be lured away by Sean Dyche. In what could prove to be a decent signing. Yiadom could serve as a backup full-back to Matt Lowton, the only recognized right full-back in the Burnley setup.

An experienced professional in the English league system, the Ghanian could also be deployed as a winger or wing-back and serve as a replacement for the recently injured Robbie Brady.
