Carlo Ancelloti confirms Alvaro Morata's departure from Real Madrid; tight-lipped over interest in Liverpool's Luis Suarez

Carlo Ancelotti planning for next year

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Alvaro Morata will leave Real Madrid in the summer, but refused to confirm his interest in Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

"The player has decided to leave in search of more minutes and the club has agreed it," said Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti at the presentation of his new website.

Apart from Arsenal, Italian champions Juventus and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are keen on obtaining the services of the young striker and it is understood that Real Madrid is keen to include a buy-back clause in any potential deal.

Ancelotti has made no bones about the fact that Real Madrid is in search of a young striker who shares the same profile as that of Morata.

The Real Madrid manager gave away a few hints about the club’s interest in the Liverpool striker Luis Suarez but remained tightlipped about the potential deal.

"It is difficult to improve what we have in attack," he said, in reference to Madrid's front three of Christiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, who scored a combined 101 goals in all competitions last season.

"Suarez is a fantastic player but it would be a lack of respect to talk about signings at this stage” added Ancelotti.
