Carlos Vela open to Arsenal return

Ready to return?

Mexican forward and former Arsenal player Carlos Vela says he is open to make a return to his former club after admitting that he has learnt things from his mistakes done earlier. Vela left Arsenal back in 2011 and has established himself in Real Sociedad’s starting 11 after making a move in Spain.

Vela had joined the La Liga side for a fee in the region of £4million and has since then gone on to score more than 40 goals in all competitions.

Vela said, "If I have to return, I will do things in a different way,"

"What happened in the past will not be repeated. We will try and reach an agreement in which we all win - Real, Arsenal and me. We must see what can be done,"

"We will decide what will be my future, it is all about finding the best way to be happy."

Vela will not be representing Mexico at the World Cup due to ongoing issues with the Mexican FA.
