Your move Zidane!

In a strange twist, ahead of the Champions League blockbuster game between Dortmund and Real Madrid tonight the German side have released a starting XI on twitter that could be the one that faces the Spaniards today.

The lineup was revealed on social media through twitter with the account showing a football pitch with all the players of Dortmund and the lineup they believe Real Madrid would play against them as well.

Whether this is a stunt to throw off their rivals or just the actual lineup that will face the Spanish giants is unknown but it does give Zinedine Zidane something to think about. This could either work in Dortmund's favor or backfire tremendously.

Here is the tweet from their official account:

The lineup does resemble the team Dortmund usually play in Bundesliga except for a few minor changes. It’s very likely this exact team will face Los Blancos today. Of course, Zidane has no sure way to know this but he’s not a manager to waver from his tactics.

These two have locked horns in the Champions League before and Real Madrid does not have a record to be proud of against Dortmund. They have met six times in the last two years and Los Blancos have only come out on top twice.

They did knock them out in the quarters in 2014 but in 2012 they were on the receiving end of a 4-1 humiliation from the Germans. Zidane will look to change their recent record today but it’s not going to be easy considering their recent form.

Despite being top of the table in La Liga, Madrid have drawn their last two games and narrowly scraped a win against Sporting Lisbon in their first UEFA Champions League game of the season.

In a stark contrast, Dortmund are matching Bayern Munich blow for blow in the Bundesliga and are currently 3 points behind their Bavarian rivals. The current form they are in, Madrid should be worried about their visit.

The holders are aiming to become the first team win two Champions League titles back to back. Zidane will need Cristiano Ronaldo to improve his game against Dortmund after he subbed him off much to his displeasure against Las Palmas.
