Napoli: Napoli are guaranteed to go through if they avoid defeat at Liverpool on December 11. They will also be certain to go through to the knockout stages if PSG loses to Red Star Belgrade. A victory away at Anfield also makes the top spot certain while a defeat to Liverpool by a 1-0 scoreline, by a two-goal margin or more will most likely result in Napoli finishing in the Europa spot as they would need PSG to lose away at Red Star Belgrade.

Paris Saint-Germain: A must-win at Red Star Belgrade to be sure of going through to the next round, but it would take Napoli losing 3-4 or a higher-scoring one-goal loss at Liverpool for Paris Saint Germain to be knocked out of the qualifying spots. PSG can only top their group if they win at Red Star Belgrade and Napoli fail to beat Liverpool.

Liverpool FC: The Merseyside club must beat Napoli 1-0 or by a two-goal margin to guarantee to go through to the next round. If PSG loses or draw at Red Star Belgrade, any victory would send Liverpool through tot he next round. If Liverpool beat Napoli by a 2-1 scoreline or higher-scoring one-goal win, and PSG beat Red Star Belgrade, Liverpool will finish third.

Red Star Belgrade: They have been eliminated from the Champions League but they can still make it to the Europa League if they manage to win at home against PSG and Liverpool lose to SSC Napoli.

FC Porto: The Portuguese side have won the group in some style.

Schalke 04: The German side have finished as runners-up.

Galatasaray: Galatasaray are out and need a win at home to Porto on December 11 to confirm their place in Europa League football, although that would also be certain if Lokomotiv Moscow fails to win in Germany against Schalke.

Lokomotiv Moscow: The Russian team must win at Schalke and hope that Galatasaray do not get a victory at home against FC Porto to keep the European dream alive.
