After being 2-0 down in the first leg against Atletico Madrid, Juventus had it all to do in the second leg and who else it could have been other than the greatest player of this competition to step up again in the big stage?

Ronaldo again proved to be decisive as he scored a mind-blowing hat-trick which sent Atletico Madrid out of the Champions League as Juventus won 3-0 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.

Ronaldo scored a record-equalling eighth hat-trick, as he once again proved to be Atletico Madrid's worst nightmare, knocking them out of this competition for the fifth time, this time by overturning a 2-0 deficit.
