Manchester United v FC Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Quarter Final: First Leg
United had 10 shots on the night and none of them were on target. It is hard to believe that at home, with the entire Old Trafford crowd backing them up, Manchester United failed to test Ter Stegen even once.

Marcus Rashford was guilty of being too ambitious and a tad selfish at times. He had a couple of good chances to at least hit the target but failed miserably. His free kicks were a waste and it was sad for United fans to see that United had at least three free kicks from good positions, but could not even force a save!
Romelu Lukaku did not have a single shot on target and was correctly offloaded in the second half for Martial. The Frenchman looked lively but it was a case of too little too late. Beside, Martial failed to work the Barcelona keeper too.
Much of United's woes have been due to their lack of composure in front of goal. While there's a room for improvement, against teams like Barcelona, if you fail to take your chances, you usually end up on the losing side. And United's finishing cost them the game.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
