Chile motel offers free drinks every time Lionel Messi scores at the Copa America

The motel will be hoping they do not see this too many times

Many football fans around the world are watching Lionel Messi at the Copa America very keenly. The Motel Fantasia in the Chilean area of La Serena will be no different. They will, however, have added motive to do so.

The motel is currently offering free drinks to their customers every time the Barcelona man scores in the Copa America. It is a promotional stunt that could easily empty their alcohol reserves but the owner of the motel, Joselyn Lizana is not deterred.

“Every Argentine fan can enjoy the benefits of their national team scoring,” Lizana said.

He might reconsider the offer when Argentina go into their last group game against Jamaica who sit bottom of Group B having failed to gather a single point so far.

The motel also introduced other offers and discounts whenever Argentina win.

While Argentina is brimming with players who can make the difference for them, their captain Leo Messi stands out. The customers of the motel will surely be rooting for the La Albiceleste and their captain, the motel itself has reason not to.
