Colombia’s Juan Cuadrado will decide future after World Cup, amid Manchester United and Liverpool interest

Fiorentina and Colombia midfielder Juan Cuadrado will not contemplate a move to Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham or Arsenal until the World Cup’s conclusion, as reported by the Daily Star Sunday.

The former Udinese forward is currently on international duty with Colombia, who gained entry into the quarter finals courtesy of an accomplished 2-0 win over Uruguay in the first knockout round.

North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are said to have asked about the 26-year-old’s availability, while former Manchester United manager David Moyes watched Cuadrado in person during his tenure at Old Trafford.

Questioned over the growing speculation surrounding his future in the Serie A, Cuadrado insisted that now wasn’t the time to discuss such matters.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: my family and I are very happy in Florence.

“Right now I’m focussed on the World Cup. After which, the time will come to think about my future.”

Asked to comment on his reported £24 million valuation, the Necocli native admitted he was flattered by the figure.

“It’s feels strange to be valued at over €30m (£24m).

“It seemed incredible at first, but I’m very happy here. I haven’t changed my mind.”
