Copa America Final Uruguay vs. Paraguay Highlights: Luis Suarez Shines Again
Uruguay managed a convincing 3-0 win over Paraguay in the Copa America Finals today and Luis Suarez was man-of-the-match with a great display.
A goal that came through a deflected shot from him to open the scoring was followed with a clever assist with a header to set up Forlan for team’s third goal highlighted his value in the team. He offered so much to the side in terms of work ethic, in terms of pace, in terms of quality skill and basically he was an absolute livewire throughout.
It was Uruguay’s first Copa America win since 1995 and it was their 15th title, which takes them one clear of Argentina. A few minutes before half-time, Forlan slotted home Uruguay’s second in the game. Arevalo stole the ball in midfield, and found the unmarked Forlan, who made absolutely no mistake as he managed to power a cracker of a shot into the bottom right corner to seemingly take Uruguay out of sight.
