Kiko Casilla: 6/10

Apart from a few efforts on goal, Kiko Casilla was rarely tested and when he was, he stood up to the challenge.

Achraf Hakimi: 7/10

The 18-year-old has been nothing but a revelation this season and his contributions to the attacking phase of the game have only grown in quality. It was through another one of his bursting runs down the right that Los Blancos were able to take the lead, as the Moroccan was fouled in the box after breezing past Fran Garcia.

Jesus Vallejo: 5/10

After 89 minutes of a stellar performance, Jesus Vallejo had a quick rush of blood to the head. The youngster flew in with two feet and left Luis Milla in a heap on the floor, and was subsequently sent off. Luckily for him, the game had long before been wrapped up.

Nacho: 6/10

Untested, unworked and unphased, Nacho Fernandez, a man used to much tougher opposition, strolled through the 90 minutes.

Alvaro Tejero: 5/10

The full-back wasn’t creative in his attacking splurges going forward and in defence, was hardly tested.

Theo Hernandez: 5/10

Theo Hernandez looked like a shell of his former self-playing in a more advanced role of left-wing than his normal left-back position. Hernandez struggled to deal with the attacking freedom and instead played a more reserved role.

Marcos Llorente: 5.5/10

Apart from producing a stunning volley in the first half, the Spaniard looked uninterested and unbothered by the whole affair.

Dani Ceballos: 4.5/10

Many have cited the Spaniard as a future replacement for Luka Modric, but tonight he struggled to show such midfield dominance.

Lucas Vasquez: 6/10

The industrious winger tried his best to create chances and make runs, but he found it hard to influence the game with such little space. In the end, the Spaniard got his rewards when he converted an 80th-minute penalty to seal the game.

Marco Asensio: 6/10

Los Blancos’ best player on the field delivered when called upon. In the 63rd minute, Asensio maintained his composure to convert from the penalty spot. Apart from that, he floated around the pitch, contributing when he felt like it.

Borja Mayoral: 6/10

The enthusiastic striker did all but score tonight. He made the right runs, linked up well with others and worked hard off the ball.

Substitutions:

Franchu: N/A

The youngster came on with 9 minutes to go and had little to do.
