Rio de Janeiro, Nov 6 Atletico Mineiro struck three second half goals to defeat Flamengo 4-3 on aggregate and advance to the Copa do Brasil final.
The Belo Horizonte-based side's opponent in the title clash will be local rivals Cruzeiro, who overcame Santos 4-3 over both legs in the other semi-final, reports Xinhua.
Flamengo, who took a 2-0 lead into Wednesday night's second leg at the Mineiro stadium, went ahead in the 34th minute after Everton's finish from a tight angle.
But Carlos equalised just before the break before Maicosuel, Datolo and Luan also hit the target in the second half.
Santos, who trailed 0-1 going into the second leg at their Vila Belmiro stadium, also started positively when Robinho struck in the second minute. Cruzeiro's Bolivia international Marcelo Moreno equalised five minutes later before Gabriel and Rildo handed the hosts a 3-1 lead early in the second half.
But two goals in the final 10 minutes from Willian were enough to see Cruzeiro through.
The final will be played over two legs Nov 12 and Nov 26.
