The reporter was from Correio da Manha TV, with whom he has had issues in the past. His anger and frustration might be fueled by his poor showing at Euro 2016 so far. Ronaldo went on a rant after the game against Iceland, saying that Portugal play to win the football match, unlike Iceland, who came to defend. At the end of the match, Ronaldo refused to exchange jerseys with Iceland captain, Aron Gunnarsson, on the pitch.

Portugal will enter their final group game after two frustrating draws against first-time qualifiers Iceland and Austria. On this last matchday of group stages, Portugal can finish in Group F in any position. They have two points from as many games, and only a win can secure a last 16 spot. A draw will take them to three points and they will have to wait for the result of Austria vs Iceland, with Iceland on two points, as well.
