Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo posted a video of him shooting balls with his son Cristiano Junior, on Twitter yesterday. The Portuguese international was seen playing around with his son and eventually winning the challenge between the two of them. Ronaldo’s five-year-old son was born on 2010 and the identity of his mother has been kept private ever since then.
The 30-year-old is not concerned about raising his son without a mother and had stated that “For me it is not a problem. I will say in the world, many kids don’t have mum, don’t have dads or dads die or mums die… Cristiano has a dad, an unbelievable dad. [He has] a grandmother, I have the support of my family.”
Cristiano Jr. shares a good relationship with his dad and was also seen attending many events like the Ballon D’Or gala in 2014, in which Ronaldo was crowned as the winner. Ronaldo also admitted that he will reveal the mother’s identity to his son in the future and added that he deserves to know it more than anybody else.
The 30-year-old had also admitted that he would love spending more time with his son and family when he calls it a day on his illustrious career. Cristiano Junior supposedly wants to be a goalkeeper as of now and Ronaldo admits that it can change, but he also added that he won’t be putting any pressure on his son.
Ronaldo also admitted that his main aim is to provide good education to his son so that he does not take all the luxury for granted. However, he also admitted that it is hard to keep away all the glamour from his kid and let him live a normal life.
