Deauville (France), June 15 (IANS) Croatia captain Darijo Srna rejoined the national football squad's training camp on Saturday after travelling to his home to attend the funeral of his father.
Srna learned of the death of his father just after the Euro 2016 match on Monday against Turkey, which Croatia won 1-0, reports Efe.
His father died before the match but Srna was only told after it was over.
It is possible that because of physical and mental exhaustion, Srna will not play in the next Euro 2016 match against the Czech Republic on Friday.
In that case, his slot would be taken by Sime Vrsaljko.
