#4 Mohamed Salah

Liverpool v Brighton and Hove Albion - Premier League
Liverpool

The PFA best player of the 17-18 season Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian was at his mercurial best in his first season with Liverpool as he broke the record of most goals in a single EPL season with 32 to his name, beating Cristiano Ronaldo's tally of 31.

The frontman even helped Egypt qualify for the world cup after scoring a last-minute penalty against Congo to take his side all the way to Russia.

A potent attacker who plays on the right side, Salah is known for his speed and accuracy in front of the goal. He helped Liverpool reach the finals of UCL 2017-18 and it was a shame to see him get substituted after suffering a shoulder injury during a tackle with Sergio Ramos. Liverpool lost out 1-3 as Real Madrid won their 3rd successive champions league trophy.

The Egyptian has played for a host of clubs in Europe but it was at Roma that he scored his first hattrick. Initially, on loan from Chelsea, Roma made the move permanent and secured the services of magnificent salah. Salah scored his first hattrick against Italian side Bologna in 2016 in Roma's 3-0 win.

With the Premier League season approaching, it remains to be seen whether Salah will be able to replicate his previous season’s form or not.
