Daniel Agger out for about a month

Liverpool center-back Daniel Agger is set to be out on the sidelines for up to a month with a calf injury. The Dane suffered the injury in FA Cup third-round clash against Oldham.

The news comes as a blow for Liverpool, who have been hit by several injuries in the last few months. Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge have missed the games during the festive period, while Mamadou Sakho, Jose Enrique and John Flanagan have also been sidelined with injuries. While Flanagan and Sakho who were struggling with their hamstring, are set to return against Stoke City, Jose Enrique is nowhere close to a return after undergoing a knee surgery.
