Daniel Sturridge is the top goalscorer in FIFA 14 with over 34 million goals

Daniel Sturridge leads the goal scoring charts in FIFA 14

Daniel Sturridge of Liverpool

EA Sports have named Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge as the top goal scorer in FIFA 14.

The Reds striker enjoyed a successful 2013/14 season on a personal level netting 21 goals and it seems his goal scoring attributes have been well utilised by FIFA fanatics in the game.

EA Sports have disclosed that Sturridge leads the way with 34,800,362 goals. However, his Liverpool team-mate Luis Suarez, who has been the top scorer in the Premier League, surprisingly sits way behind at no.10 with 13,065,556 goals. The pace of Daniel Sturridge must have prevailed over Suarez when it comes to beating defenders while receiving the long through pass.

Chelsea’s Samuel Eto ranks 2nd in the list piling up 30,578,146 goals while his striking partner Fernando Torres is placed 5th with nearly 21 million goals.

While Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are considered as the two best players in the real world, they don’t get to rule the scoring charts in the gaming world.

After all, it’s just a game.

The list is as follows:

  • Daniel Sturridge – 34,800,362 goals
  • Samuel Eto’o – 30,578,146 goals
  • Christian Benteke – 26,382,579 goals
  • Loic Remy – 21,366,615 goals
  • Fernando Torres – 20,093,762 goals
  • Stevan Jovetic – 18,504,646 goals
  • Alvaro Negredo – 17,512,777 goals
  • Roberto Soldado – 14,987,590 goals
  • Javier Hernandez – 14,670,340
  • Luis Suarez – 13,065,556
