Spain and Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea would be more than happy to welcome compatriot Cesc Fabregas to Old Trafford.

Manchester United have renewed their interest in the Spanish international after failing to sign his team mate Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona. It is reported that the Red Devils are keen on signing the former Arsenal midfielder and have made a €30 million bid for Fabregas.

When asked about Fabregas, the United shot stopper is quoted as saying in the Guardian:

It would be great if Cesc came here.”

“It would be great to have more Spanish players at Manchester United. He is a great player, very skilful, knows how to win things and you always want those type of players in your team.”
