In what seems like a cruel joke on the fans, Manchester United manager David Moyes has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award.
United have lost three of their past games in all competitions but have won four and drawn once in the League.
Manuel Pellegrini, Jose Mourinho and Roberto Martinez have also been nominated.
Moyes’ team drew 2-2 with Tottenham at the start of December, but went on to subsequently lose their home games to Everton and Newcastle.
A run of four wins against Aston Villa, West Ham, Hull City and Norwich was cut short when United lost 2-1 to Tottenham on New Year’s Day.
