The recently sacked manager of Manchester United, David Moyes might be surprised as his statue was unveiled by Paddy Power at Anfield.
The 11-foot bronze statue has apparently been commissioned for, as the legend on the statue reads,” services to Liverpool Football club”.
The monument was the work of Paddy Power in reference to Manchester United’s poor season and also with Liverpool’s likely title win since the 1989-90 season.
David Moyes lost his job earlier this week after a horrendous 10-months in charge at Old Trafford.
This is not the first time Paddy Power was involved in a publicity stunt. Earlier this season, they mocked up a model of Sir Alex Ferguson in an emergency glass box, before sending a grim reaper to Goodison Park last weekend.
