De Rossi banned for three games

Rome, Nov 14 – Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has been banned for three games by the Serie A disciplinary department.

De Rossi was sent off for punching Stefano Mauri in the Roma derby Sunday and then was dropped by the national team Tuesday for this incident, reports Xinhua.

He was reported to have gone to the locker room and apologised to Mauri after the match where Roma lost 2-3 to Lazio.
