Denilson admits his Arsenal future is unclear and his representative is yet to hold advanced talks with the club. The 24-year-old insists there is a probability he could sign a long term contract with former club Sao Paulo where he spent the entire last season on loan.
There are two options – a permanent contract or extend the loan deal. There is the possibility of maybe signing a four or five-year contract.

My lawyer talked to Arsenal and they asked to wait to see what happens in the Brazilian Cup before talking again. Anything could happen. Sao Paulo are doing their best to keep me, but I prefer to focus on my work and think about that later.

The midfielder has made more than 150 appearances for the Gunners since joining them in 2006, and is hoping Arsenal would extend his loan spell for a couple of weeks at least, if Sao Paulo reach the Brazilian Cup final.
If we advance to the Brazilian Cup final, Arsenal might extend the loan deal for two more weeks, and I will accept that decision as I want to play in the final. I have already done my part, showing my intention of remaining here [at Sao Paulo].
Meanwhile, Barcelona are rumored to be interested in signing Thomas Vermaelen after all attempts to sign AC Milan‘s Thiago Silva hit rock bottom.
