Berlin, Sep 29 (IANS) Borussia Dortmund crushed 10-man Freiburg in a one-sided affair, Schalke gave away a 3-1 lead to share points with Hoffenheim, and Thomas Mueller secured Bayern’s win against Wolfsburg, at the seventh round of German Bundesliga.

Dortmund celebrated a goal festival at home, as 10-man Freiburg were unequal to put up any resistance. The “BVB” controlled the proceedings on the pitch from the outset but yet they had to wait until the 35th minute to break the deadlock through Marco Reus’ goal, reports Xinhua.

Freiburg’s Fallou Diagne brought down Robert Lewandowski with a professional foul which resulted in a penalty and a straight red card. Reus converted the spot-kick to seal his brace before the break.

Lewandowski scored twice in the second half to give the hosts a 4-0 lead. The hosts had not enough as Jakub Blaszczykowski wrapped things up with the fifth goal of the match in the 79th minute.

Bayern Munich carved out a hard earned 1-0 win over Wolfsburg. Thomas Mueller scored the winner in the 63rd minute.

Bayern recorded their sixth win in seven games while Wolfsburg suffered their fourth loss of the season.
